Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Pet in Mexican Territory to $20,000
Wales football star Aaron Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads concerning his lost canine named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now is with Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state region.
Halo, who disappeared on October 9th, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey posted a exact coordinates of her last known location.
"Any information about our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Big bounty for reuniting with her. We are all wishing she is safe and will return to our side quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey first announced that Halo had vanished a fortnight back and has since uploaded multiple pictures of the beloved canine on Instagram.
A seven thousand five hundred pound reward was first provided, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the amount.
"All we desire is our pet returned," he stated in a further request on social media after the elderly dog disappeared.
The most recent picture upload is a grayscale image of Halo sleeping, its head resting in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the description: "How I wish to embrace you again sweet Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
The footballer has also shared a statement from his spouse Colleen on social media saying they have some "important concerns" surrounding the disappearance and fear the household "might not obtain explanations".
"We still are still searching for Halo. It is unlikely we ever will," his wife's message read.
The Wales skipper signed with Mexico's first division club Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in August.
